AMC Reveals Better Call Saul Teaser Trailer and February Premiere Date

Expect the unexpected was an unwritten mantra of AMC’s hit drama Breaking Bad and that’s precisely the tact the cable network took today by quietly dropping the first Better Call Saul teaser trailer online this morning.

In the trailer we catch up with Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk), hair plugs intact and looking a bit more youthful than we’re used to seeing him on Breaking BadSaul is being, well, Saul as he tries to solicit a new client by making a comparison between lawyers and health insurance. You wouldn’t want to be caught without either.

AMC had originally planned to premiere Better Call Saul, a prequel to Breaking Bad centered around Saul Goodman, this November. Instead, AMC bumped up their initial order of episodes from one season to two, and pushed the premiere back into early 2015 where it could piggyback off The Walking Dead on Sunday evenings.

The conclusion of this brief Better Call Saul teaser trailer drills down the premiere date to the month of February, meaning we have approximately six months to go until a return trip to the addictive world Vince Gilligan created.

Be sure to check out the first Better Call Saul images as well where you get a first look at Saul’s brother and a breakdown of the core Better Call Saul cast.
