NBC’s freshman breakout hit drama The Blacklist Season 1 starring James Spader will make its Blu-ray and DVD debut on August 12, several weeks ahead of the Season 2 premiere.
Spader plays a fugitive and former government agent in The Blacklist that helps the FBI track down and capture the world’s most wanted criminals. The series, which was NBC’s top-rated program last fall, also stars Diego Klattenhoff, Megan Boone, Parminder Nagra, Ryan Eggold and Harry Lennix.
For its Blu-ray and DVD debut, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is delivering The Blacklist: Season 1 in a five-disc set on either format. On Blu-ray, all 22 episodes will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
The Blacklist: Season 1 on Blu-ray is loaded with numerous bonus features, many of which are exclusive and not found on the DVD editon.
