The third season of AMC’s The Walking Dead premieres Sunday, October 14 at 9/8c. I’m sure many of you never bothered to leave the show on your DVR or purchase the Season 1 or Season 2 Blu-ray or DVD sets to commence a big marathon before the Season 3 premiere. No worries; AMC has a plan that will make everyone except Dish Network customers* happy.
On Saturday, October 13 at 10am EST/9am central, AMC will air the first season of The Walking Dead which runs 6 episodes long. When that ends, Season 2 and its 13 episodes will immediately begin and run into the night and into early Sunday. When Season 2 ends on Sunday, it will then restart all 13 episodes and run straight into the Season 3 premiere that night.
If you have AMC and have heard about The Walking Dead but have not gotten around to checking it out yet, your best opportunity is only nine days away.
* Dish Network is still blocking out AMC and several other channels due to a legal dispute. There is no resolution in sight.
