The Vampire Authority in True Blood has come a long way since making their debut in the second episode of Season 5. At first preaching a peaceful coexistence between vampires and humans, the Authority now answers to a ghostly appearance of Lilith and seeks to rule mankind and use them as food.
In tonight’s episode “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” Russell Edgington will rally the vampires and proceed to follow Lilith’s master plan. For one vampire, Eric Northman, their path is not one he wishes to walk. He will need an escape plan before getting in deeper with the Authority remnants than he already is. Bill, however, looks willing to break the Bill and Eric bromance that has lasted much of the season.
Andy and Jason are still on the hunt for the shifter killers and have no idea that Hoyt has crossed the killers’ path. Taking down the shifter killers could provide the healing element that Jason and Hoyt need to mend their broken friendship.
Sookie is in Sherlock Holmes mode in the hunt for her parents’ killers. It’s pretty obvious that the offending vampire will be someone she and us know. The question is who? To find the answer, Sookie will next lean on the words of wisdom from someone beyond the grave.
Patrick and Terry are caught in a tricky predicament. The ghost of the woman they murdered has promised to end the curse if, and only if, one of them dies. Maybe Arlene can help them figure out the next move. Or, she’ll become the victim of them trying to kill each other.
