A new photo from The Hunger Games movie adaptation has hit the web courtesy of a 2012 movie preview from the L.A. Times.
The photo features Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks), Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson) and Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) watching something off-camera. A blue drink sits on a coffee table in front of them.
Each of the characters’ personalities and social status are depicted by how they are sitting on the couch. Effie sits upright, prim and proper with her legs together. Haymitch is slouched, with drink in hand and one leg kicked up on the table. Katniss has her legs up on the sofa, almost as if she’s unsure of the best way to sit on it.
The Hunger Games from director Gary Ross and also co-starring Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, will be in theaters everywhere on March 23.
