With David Fincher’s The Social Network January 11 Blu-ray release date now a little over a week away, Amazon.com has decided to drop the pre-order price to drum up some sales. And sales they have found.
The new (temporary?) $16.99 sale price for The Social Network starring Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield on Blu-ray at Amazon has shot the film up into the top spot on Amazon’s hourly bestsellers list for Blu-ray. It skyrocketed past Inception, The A-Team, Machete and The Expendables in no time flat. It will likely remain in the top spot if this price holds right through its release next week.
If you haven’t seen The Social Network then this is a great opportunity to grab it for cheap. The film is outstanding and deserving of all the award accolades it will surely receive in the coming months.
