Current Blu-ray 3D adopters and those getting the upgrade from Santa Claus later this month can add another title to the upcoming 3D releases list.
Lionsgate has revealed plans to release Saw 3D: The Final Chapter on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D on January 25. The Blu-ray 3D version marks the first non-exclusive entry into the format by Lionsgate; their previous lone entry being the Best Buy exclusive My Bloody Valentine in 3D.
Both Blu-ray versions of Saw 3D will include a director and producer commentary, deleted scenes and music videos. Exclusive to Blu-ray will be the featurette “52 Ways to Die,” which at minimum recounts every trap seen in the Saw films.
The Saw 3D: The Final Chapter 2D combo pack that includes the DVD and digital copy is priced at $39.99. The Blu-ray 3D version, which also includes the 2D version along with a DVD and digital copy, is priced at $49.99.
