Rick Grimes and a trio of his fellow human survivors venture back into zombie-infested Atlanta in ‘Vatos,’ the fourth of six The Walking Dead episodes that comprise the first season of AMC’s runaway hit show.
The term ‘vatos’ most likely refers to the all-male contingent of Glenn (Steven Yeun), Rick (Andrew Lincoln), T-Dog (IronE Singleton) and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) risking their lives to save a man left behind and collect weapons and ammunition left abandoned in a bag when Rick sought shelter inside an Army tank from a zombie attack. For Rick the trip back into Atlanta after reuniting with his family mere days earlier is one of pure selflessness and the survival of their group as a whole.
