Universal’s SNL inspired MacGruber starring Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillippe and Val Kilmer will seek an audience on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on September 7 after playing to a miserable $9.2 million at the worldwide box office.
MacGruber on Blu-ray will include the 1:31 theatrical cut as well as a new 1:35 unrated cut with four additional minutes. It will be presented in 2.35:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
Bonus features are unknown at this time as we await the full press release from Universal to hit the wires. I’ll pass along an update when that happens.
