Online retailer Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for the Back to the Future Trilogy: 25th Anniversary Edition on Blu-ray Disc. Early brisk sales are proving just how much Blu-ray owners have wanted to get their hands on this set.
Shortly after going up for pre-order, the Back to the Future Trilogy Blu-ray set shot up to the top of Amazon’s hourly Blu-ray bestsellers list where it remains today. These strong sales are happening despite the set costing $55.99 for all three films (the retail price is $79.98).
In stark contrast, Kick-Ass on Blu-ray has failed to crack the top 10 list at Amazon and likely won’t do so until the week of its release in early August.
