Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release Heath Ledger’s last role in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus on Blu-ray Disc and DVD April 27.
Terry Gilliam’s fantastical film cast Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law to portray Ledger’s character after the actor’s untimely death. The film also co-stars Christopher Plummer, Verne Troyer, Andrew Garfield, Lily Cole and Tom Waits.
Sony is advertising what looks like a fantastic 1080p transfer for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus in front of new and upcoming Blu-ray releases like Armored. Audio will be of the 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio variety.
