Paramount has cleared Jason Reitman’s Up in the Air to land on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on March 9, two days after the Academy Awards. The film received a total of six nominations: Best Picture, Best Actor (George Clooney), Best Supporting Actress (Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick), Best Director (Reitman) and Best Adapted Screenplay.
On Blu-ray, Up in the Air will be presented in 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. A standard definition digital copy nor DVD will be included.
The Blu-ray edition will include more than twice the number of deleted scenes as the DVD with the exclusives presented in high definition. There are a couple other Blu-ray exclusives as noted below in the complete list.
