Anchor Bay Entertainment has inked a deal with UFC to take over home video publishing and distribution rights from First Look Studios.
The deal will encompass both DVD and Blu-ray Disc with upwards of 12 titles published per year. Whether every title will see a simultaneous Blu-ray release is still up in the air as Anchor Bay finalizes their plans.
Every new release will be timed to arrive on home video 60 days after its on-air debut. Each will include the main event fight, four co-featured fights and five preliminary fights totaling over 300 minutes. On top of that expect behind-the-scene footage and other bonus features.
The first title out of the gate is UFC 100 which aired this past Saturday exclusively on Pay-Per-View. Factoring in the 60-day rule this set should drop in mid-September.
