Rockstar Games has finally shed some light on when the first of two promised Xbox 360 exclusive chapters for Grand Theft Auto IV will be available.
The first chapter titled Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned will be available worldwide on February 17, 2009. It will only be available via Xbox Live Marketplace via download and only work on conjunction with the full game.
Details are still a little hazy about what this chapter encompasses but Rockstar does promise “a new main character and plot that intersects with the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV; new missions that offer an entirely fresh way to explore Liberty City with new multiplayer modes, weapons and vehicles; and a diverse soundtrack with additional music – all with the incredible production values that are the trademarks of Grand Theft Auto.”
Additional details, including how price The Lost and Damned will set you back, are expected shortly in a separate announcement.
Rockstar has yet to set a timetable for when the second Xbox 360 exclusive chapter for Grand Theft Auto IV will be available.
