Check off another former HD DVD exclusive now that we’ve learned Friday Night Lights, released on HD DVD almost two-and-a-half years ago, is coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 6.
Universal will present Friday Night Lights on Blu-ray in widescreen 2.35:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
New on the Blu-ray version is a Playstation 3 controller static user guide, a nod to PS3 owners, My Scenes bookmarking and BD-Live access. The remaining extras were also found on HD DVD.
