Videobusiness.com has gotten the scoop on Sony’s Hancock (read our theatrical review) home video debut, likely to be officially announced by the studio on Monday or Tuesday.
Per the report, Will Smith as Hancock will arrive November 25 on Blu-ray Disc, day-and-date with DVD. This is one week earlier than the December 2 date that had been circulating the Internet since July.
Hancock on Blu-ray will be presented in widescreen 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio on two discs, with the second disc likely including the standard definition digital copy.
Supplemental features include a pair of Blu-ray exclusives and everything found on the single and two-disc DVD editions. We’re also thinking Hancock is a prime candidate for D-BOX support, though that is currently unconfirmed by the studio.
