Warner Home Video has announced Blu-ray details on the direct-to-video sequel Lost Boys: The Tribe (aka Lost Boys 2), due in stores July 29 day-and-date with DVD.
Angus Sutherland will take the reins from older brother Kiefer as a bullish vampire leader prowling the seaside town of Luna Bay for fresh blood. Angus bites off more than he can chew when a champion surfer (Tad Hilgenbrink) and his sister (Autumn Reeser) move in and trigger the revelation of dark secrets.
There’s only one person to call when your town is being overrun by vampires and its not Peter Venkman. Corey Feldman escapes reality TV and returns to his famous Edgar Frog role to help exterminate Angus and his miscreants. Corey Haim is also expected to make a cameo as fellow vampire hunter Sam Emerson, though the extent of his role is currently unknown.
Warner will present the 94-minute uncut version of Lost Boys: The Tribe on Blu-ray Disc in widescreen 2.4:1 1080p video and lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.
