A sluggish North American box office should get a boost this weekend with the release of Fox’s “don’t call me Angry Birds” animated flick Rio, and the return of Ghost Face in the “you’re supposed to call me Scre4m” sequel Scream 4.
These two big openers will take a “stab” at dethroning the incumbent box office champ Hop and topping holdovers Hanna and Arthur.
