Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment are going big with TV on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray by officially announced FRIENDS: The Complete Series has an official release date of September 24, 2024. Why now, you wonder? Because one of the most watched sitcoms of all time is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
FRIENDS: The Complete Series has been remastered in 4K Ultra HD and will be presented with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. It includes over 110 hours of total content with over 2o hours of that bonus features. Of those 20 hours, two of them are all-new for this release. Details on what those additional hours entail will be released at a later date.
Amazon is already taking pre-orders for FRIENDS: The Complete Series on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, the first big box set of the upcoming holiday season. There will likely be more announced in the coming months.
FRIENDS: The Complete Series stars David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, the late Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Jennifer Aniston.
