The massive 5,685-piece LEGO Ninjago City Gardens (71741) set is now available to purchase at the LEGO Shop @ Home website for $299.99 with free shipping here in the USA, exclusively for LEGO VIP Members.
Expectations were for this large new Ninjago Legacy set to sellout within the first 12 hours of availability and quickly move to back-order status. Grab one now if you want to add this to your Ninjago collection. If it’s already on back-order, lock that in as COVID-19 has led to quick sellouts and slow restocks across LEGO themes.
Non-LEGO VIP Members will be able to purchase the new Ninjago Legacy set beginning February 1st. Since VIP membership is free there’s no reason not to enroll so you can earn points and buy select sets early.
Ninjago City Gardens is the third Ninjago City set and first released under the Legacy banner. The first two, Ninjago City and Ninjago City Docks, were part of the LEGO Ninjago Movie range and featured minifigures inspired mostly by the film.
The Ninjago City Gardens release date for VIP Members, January 14th, not coincidentally marks the 10th anniversary of when the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu pilot episodes first aired on TV. The series and LEGO toy line is still going strong; this year will see the debut of Season 14 this spring and Season 15 in the fall.
