Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ Reigns Supreme at Amazon on 4K UHD and Blu-ray

You can count on one hand the number of blockbusters released theatrical since the 2020 pandemic began. None were more expensive or more hyped than Christopher Nolan’s time-reversal thriller Tenet.

Starring John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki, and released on home video this past week on December 15th, Tenet has been an absolute winner on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray at Amazon.

Since its release, Tenet has been a mainstay at the top of Amazon’s Blu-ray Bestsellers chart. Currently the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray combo pack is the top seller, and the Blu-ray combo pack is in position three.

This is especially important here in North America as Tenet only earned $57.8 million this past fall when Warner Bros. let it loose theatrically despite pandemic numbers heading in the wrong direction.

If there’s ever a time for Tenet to be a hit at home and help recoup some of the box offices losses then it’s now with Christmas right around the corner. Lots of folks will unwrap it next week and get to experience a top tier audio/video presentation. The 4K UHD version especially is a masterclass in appealing to one’s senses, even if at times the movie is hard to make sense of.
