A ten month agonizing wait finally concludes as The Mandalorian Season 2 gets underway on Disney Plus with its first episode. Din Djarin, The Child aka Baby Yoda, Cara Dune, and Greef Karga are back to embark on new adventures shrouded in mystery by series mastermind Jon Favreau.
You don’t want to miss the Season 2 premiere this Friday, October 30th, when The Mandalorian Episode 1 titled The Marshal will be available to stream via the Disney+ app or website sometime around midnight. Find out how to watch The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 1 online so you don’t miss a single second of what’s next.
Disney+ Subscription
Last year when Disney+ launched alongside The Mandalorian Season 1, it offered a free 7-day trial so newcomers could check out the service and flagship Star Wars series. The subscriptions skyrocketed, even more so when COVID-19 began, so the free trial was sadly retired.
If you want to watch The Mandalorian Season 2 episodes and don’t have a Disney+ subscription, you will need to sign-up for Disney+ at the official website or app. Doing so allows you to jump right in and watch as much of The Mandalorian and other shows/movies on the platform that your heart desires.
The cost for Disney+ remains one of the cheapest of all streaming services at only $6.99 a month. With all the Star Wars, Pixar, Disney, Marvel and National Geographic content, subscribers get more than their money’s worth.
Disney is also offering an option for $69.99 a year that drops the price down to $5.84 a month, over a dollar a month less than going month-to-month.
Disney+ Hulu ESPN+ Bundle
There is also a $12.99 a month bundle option that includes Disney+, ESPN+ and the ad-supported version of Hulu. This deal dubbed “Get All Three” is fantastic and many folks have already jumped in with both feet and endless hours of streaming options.
If you already have a Hulu account then you will receive a bill credit for each month that you’re subscribed to the bundle deal.
Look for the Disney+ app to show up on a variety of devices including Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles; LG, Samsung and Sony TVs, and Amazon Fire boxes and Fire Sticks.
You’ll need to install the latest update to have the Disney+ app appear after registering your Get All Three account.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 1 Preview
In Episode 8 of The Mandalorian Season 1, Mando and his posse were able to escape Moff Gideon and his squadron of stormtroopers. Rather stay together, it was time for the crew to split apart.
With The Child in tow, Mando set off on his Razor Crest ship to search for The Child’s people and return him home. Until he accomplishes that, he’s The Child’s guardian per The Mandalorian foundling laws.
Where the pair go next is anyone’s guess. Jon Favreau has once again influenced the marketing and kept virtually all spoilers behind closed doors. There are rumors floating around, but nothing concrete, and certainly no context for how those rumors might play out.
Much like the Baby Yoda reveal in the Season 1 premiere, expect some surprised with the Season 2 premiere of The Mandalorian.
