Director David Yarovesky’s Brightburn from producers James Gunn and Kenneth Huang has arrived in theaters.
If you saw the horror-superhero genre mash-up and want it on home video, Amazon is already accepting pre-orders for 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
Brightburn stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, and Meredith Hagner. The film flips Superman’s tale by having an orphaned alien boy use his superpowers for pure evil.
The film earned roughly $3 million at the box office Friday and is expected to bring in around $10 million through the four-day holiday weekend. That’s nearly double the estimated $6 million production budget.
