Heavy spoilers for last week’s Game of Thrones follow so please proceed at your own risk.
Last week multiple notable characters met their demise as the Night King and his army assaulted Winterfell with the intention of sending Brandon Stark to his grave.
The Night King might have succeeded had Bran’s sister, Arya, not snuck by the Night King’s minions and generals, then took out the King with a knife move she first showcased against Brienne a few seasons ago.
We may never know why the Night King was so obsessed with Bran. Or maybe we will? Twists and turns are not out of the question as the show deals with the aftermath of the Battle for Winterfell.
There are still three episodes of Game of Thrones left and more characters, especially some of the main ones, are certain to fall before all is said and done.
