Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is bringing the outstanding Todd Douglas Miller documentary Apollo 11 to Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and Movies Anywhere on May 14th.
There will not be a 4k Ultra HD Apollo 11 release.
In the critically acclaimed film, Miller takes advantage of newly discovered 65mm footage and 11,000 hours of uncatalogued audio recordings from the famous NASA space mission. He takes viewers into the trenches on the ship, mission control and spectators on the ground.
In addition to including the theatrical trailer, the Apollo 11 home video release also includes a featurette that looks back at the process of digitizing, restoring and archiving the 65mm footage.
