Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced a 4K Ultra HD version with exclusive Dolby Atmos audio of The Equalizer starring Denzel Washington is set for release on July 10th.
If you’re wondering that’s 10 days ahead of when The Equalizer 2 debuts in theaters.
Normally a sequel-timed 4K release of the original film doesn’t get any new bonus features. That’s certainly not the case here as Sony is packing in five never-before-seen deleted scenes that weren’t included on the recent Blu-ray release.
One of those deleted scenes is an epilogue by McCall teasing what’s to come in The Equalizer 2.
