An internal gaffe at Electronic Arts led to the E3 Titanfall 2 trailer being inadvertently released online earlier this morning. With EA’s press conference not scheduled until the afternoon, EA and Respawn Entertainment went ahead and released the official trailer well ahead of when it was originally planned to debut.
The big obvious upgrade from Titanfall to Titanfall 2 is the inclusion of a single-player campaign mode. It was completely absent from the original and a big talking point about what could possibly be included in the next iteration. Don’t feat, multiplayer fans, as Titanfall 2 will of course also support competitive online multiplayer.
Aside from a simultaneous launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, keeping in mind that Titanfall was an Xbox One exclusive at launch, Titanfall 2 looks to add several new mechs to the roster and give them more functionality. The trailer also reveals a sweet new move where a mech throws a pilot across a long distance.

The Titanfall 2 release date is October 28th, 2016 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
