Country Music Television is geared up to celebrate the CMT Artists of the Year for 2021. This one-night special coming live from the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee will pay tribute to five country music recording artists.

The premiere date and time for the CMT Artists of the Year special is Wednesday, October 13th at 9/8c on the CMT cable TV channel.

The 2021 edition of CMT Artists of the Year will celebrate Chris Stapleton, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett and Luke Combs. There will be special tributes, live performances and other surprises in store.

Randy Travis will be receiving the “Artist of a Lifetime” award from his friend Garth Brooks.

Most of the CMT program will be in its original format after being remote last year. Some guests not able to attend in-person will appear live remotely.
