Adam McKay’s docu-series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty returns for Season 2 to follow the fabled Los Angeles NBA basketball team from the 1980-81 season all the way through 1984. The new season premieres Sunday, August 6th at 9/8c on HBO and the Max streaming platform with new episodes each subsequent Sunday night.

HBO’s description for Winning Time Season 2 reads as follows. “How far can humans push nature before it bites back?
