Cardinals vs Vikings Preseason Preview
Arizona fans were feeling good after Kyler Murray had a decent first drive in Week 1. But in Week 2 the Raiders picked up the pressure and Murray’s performance was a dramatic 180 in the wrong direction.
With the Raider blitzing seemingly every down and the Cardinals offensive line unable to slow them down, Murray was under pressure and had trouble hitting his receivers. He overthrew multiple touch passes and was sacked for a safety.
Another issue Murray and the new Cardinals offense had was his clap to snap from shotgun. Despite head coach Kliff Kingsbury telling the reds about the clap before the game, Murray was called for two false starts as a direct result from the clap.
The Vikings have put up 59 points in their two wins against the Seahawks and Saints. They looked ready to go for the regular season and will be a favorite to advance far in the NFC.
If the Cardinals defense plays as poorly as it did against the Raiders then Minnesota could put over 20 points on the board before halftime.
