Maryland vs Tempe Preview

Maryland is one of the talks of the 2019 college football season thus far. But they’ll have to have a short memory if a hot start is to continue.

After Week 1 the Terrapins had destroyed Howard 79-0 in a game that was over before it began.

Then last weekend they faced then 21st-ranked Syracuse and beat them 63-20. That’s 142 points of offense in only 8 quarters of play.

Last year the Terrapins were also 2-0 and had beaten a Top 25 team. Then in Week 3 they played Tempe and got blown out 35-14 in a huge upset loss.

The goal for Maryland this year is simple: don’t let their potent offense get shutdown by Temple, even though they’re on the road.

The Terrapins are only a 6.5 point favorite to beat Temple.
