England vs Norway World Cup 2019 Preview
England’s last game against Cameroon is one that will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. The Cameroon coach and players were furious with the officiating and took their protests too far.
Coach Phil Neville was outspoken after the match about the lack of sportsmanship on display by Cameroon. He praised his team not for winning 3-0, but for keeping their composure in a game he didn’t see as being of World Cup caliber.
England has only allowed one goal through four World Cup 2019 soccer games, and that was to Scotland in their opener.
Norway took a very tough Australia team to penalty kicks in their first elimination game and handily won the shootout 4-1. They had held a 1-0 lead for most of the game before Australia scored the equalizer at the 83′ mark.
The winner of today’s England and Norway World Cup game will face the winner of USA and France in the semifinals.
