Broncos vs Raiders Preview
Oakland’s farewell season in California officially begins tonight as they’ll be off to Las Vegas next year.
Before that happens, Derek Carr and the Raiders — sans Antonio Brown — will try not to become the only AFC West team without a win. With the Chargers and Chiefs having won on Sunday, the loser of this game will be a game behind everyone else in the division.
Last year Carr was sacked 51 times so the Raiders offensive line has been rebuilt to better protect him. Rookie running back Josh Jacobs should also get several touches tonight to take pressure off the rush.
The Broncos begin a new era with former Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco under center. They have a new offensive system and new coaches to run it for their new quarterback.
Even though the Broncos are on the road to open their season on Monday Night Football in 2019, they are a 3-point favorite to beat the Raiders.
