Crave kicked off the E3 press kit party today by releasing theirs to anxious press members, TMR included. Of interest to us are the first underwhelming screenshots for the Xbox 360 version of “World Championship Poker: Featuring Howard Lederer”.
The only two reasons I saw for bringing poker to Xbox 360 were 1) the ability to render photorealistic players and 2) the ability to fully take advantage of Xbox Live. One glimpse of these first screenshots immediately puts an X through number one and until we go hands-on and see the Achievements, the verdict is still out on number two.
Regardless of these yesterdays graphics, we plan on swinging by the Crave booth at E3 next week to see if the smarter AI will make us think ahead or go all in time and time again.
