Watch The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 307

The prison and Woodbury storylines in The Walking Dead are set for a collision course in tonight’s penultimate episode ahead of the midseason finale, ‘When the Dead Come Knocking.’ All indications are a couple characters will not leave this episode quite the same as they entered it.

Last week, Merle stumbled into Maggie and Glenn while hunting for a wounded Michonne. Using Glenn’s trust against him, Merle captures the pair and takes them back to Woodbury where what could become a nasty interrogation awaits. Based on the international preview, the Governor and Merle will push both of these prisoners to the brink in order to learn the whereabouts of Rick and his group.

Meanwhile Michonne has managed to make it to the prison and wisely brought the baby formula with her. This gesture, along with her knowledge of Glenn and Maggie’s location, will earn her a spot in the group – at least for now. One of the preview images for tonight’s episode shows us a group consisting of Rick, Oscar, Daryl and Michonne on their way to Woodbury.

Is tonight the episode where Daryl and Merle will finally reunite? I haven’t seen the episode yet but my best guess would yes, it is. The two coming face-to-face would make for a perfect cliffhanger headed into the midseason finale next week. ‘When the Dead Come Knocking’ looks to be focused on Glenn, Maggie, Merle and the Governor, and whatever sick torture methods and mind games will be used to break the young lovers.

Tonight’s episode looks like it will give Beth, Carl, Hershel and newly found Carol a bit of a break. They may pop up early in the episode at the prison, but it looks like the storyline is going to shift to Woodbury for the foreseeable future. What happens in Woodbury is what we’re all dying to see. Rick’s first meeting with the Governor is what the midseason finale absolutely needs to deliver to set up the back-half of Season 3 in 2013.

The recommended way to watch a live streaming version of tonight’s ‘The Walking Dead’ episode ‘When the Dead Come Knocking’ is to buy it in standard or high definition shortly after the episode airs from Amazon.com here for $2.99. Free live online streaming options are not recommended as they can deliver a virus to your computer. The official stream, though not live or free, is hands down the best path to choose.
