The 3-5 Philadelphia Eagles and 3-4 Oakland Raiders each have playoffs in their respective targets despite claiming losing records on the 2013 NFL schedule. For the Eagles to come away with a win, they’ll have to break a three-game winning streak Oakland has compiled at home when we watch Philadelphia Eagles at Oakland Raiders online free live streaming NFL Sunday Football game on Fox by following the links found below.
The Eagles, like several other teams in the NFL, are struggling to find consistency at the quarterback position due to injury woes. Backup Nick Foles will get the start today against the Raiders despite suffering a concussion two weeks ago because Michael Vick’s hamstring is keeping him from taking the field. Foles has one stellar start on the season but then struggled before Dallas knocked him out of the game with the concussion.
When Foles was on, he was truly on. Against the Bucs he went 22 of 31 for 296 yards and a trio of touchdown passes. Against the Cowboys, Foles was only 11 of 29 for 80 yards before exiting the game. On the bright side, Foles has six touchdowns versus no interceptions on the season so he’s managed to avoid making the big mistake and handing points to the opposition.
If Foles and running back LeSeaon McCoy can find any consistency today then the Eagles have a shot at tying the Cowboys atop the NFC East. They enter Sunday only a game back with McCoy struggling lately, only tallying 103 yards combined on the ground over his past two starts. Overall, McCoy still leads the NFL in rushing yards at 733 and could find success against a Raiders team that has been susceptible to defensive collapses late in ball games.
Last week the Raiders were up 21-3 at the half against the Steelers, then went on to stall offensively and buckle defensively, giving up 15 fourth quarter points and escaping with a 21-18 win at home. It has been a tale of two halves over the past four games for the Raiders. In the first half they come out hot and have outscored opponents 59-20. In the second half, the Raiders have been ruled by a tune of being outscored 63-10.
Quarterback Terrelle Pryor made the highlight reel against the Steelers when he rattled off a 93-yard touchdown run. Overall in the game, Pryor was only 10 of 19 passing for 88 yards, a career-low, and threw a pair of interceptions without a touchdown pass. He wasn’t able to put together a scoring drive the entire second half, but when we watch Raiders at Eagles online free live streaming on Fox today, Pryor will be back behind center as the starting quarterback with another chance to find consistency.
The Raiders defense has been getting better week over week and now ranks 10th in the league in defense in giving up 330.9 yards per game of offense to opponents. As impressive is they have forced eight turnovers in their past three games, almost at a clip of three per game. We will have to watch Fox online streaming closely today to see if Foles throws his first interception or continues to play error-free football.
Today’s NFL Sunday afternoon week 9 football game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Oakland Raiders will kick off at 4:05pm EST / 1:05pm PST. You will find the game on TV on Fox in high definition (HD), and will need to find your local listings to determine exactly what channel Fox is in your area.
There is no legal free live online streaming offered by Fox for the Eagles at Raiders game today, but you can watch the online live stream on Fox as a DirecTV with Max subscriber here with a phone, computer and other Internet device. I like the Eagles to snap out of their funk today with McCoy breaking 100 yards rushing en route to Philly pulling one game away from a .500 record.
