The Louisville Cardinals are the elder statesman compared to the Wildcats. Their top players, Russ Smith and Luke Hancock, are both seniors. They know that even though the Cardinals are seeded four spots higher than Kentucky that the Wildcats are an especially dangerous team and not to be taken lightly.
Earlier this year in the Kentucky Louisville game during the regular season, the Wildcats wound up winning the game 73-66. Kentucky is playing even better basketball now than it was then, so Louisville had best bring their A-game tonight.
