The 2014 Honda Classic has turned into the reemergence of Rory McIlroy after the once top-ranked golfer in the world struggled for a period while he adjusted to his Nike golf clubs. The golf world has always viewed the Honda Classic as one of the better tournaments in the early part of the season where the world’s best golfers battle into the last day. McIlroy could certainly use a win to get back on track and live up to the lofty expectations placed upon him.
Honda Classic round three coverage starts on television today at 1pm EST / 10pm PST on Golf Channel in HD where available. Golf Channel coverage will run approximately two hours until 3pm EST, at which time TV coverage will switch to NBC from 3-6pm EST. In addition, Golf Channel is offering Bear Trap coverage of holes 15, 16 and 17 from 3-5pm EST that will jump between holes depending on who is playing them.
Rory McIlroy tees off at 1:35pm EST today so his entire round of 18 holes at the Honda Classic 2014 will be viewable on TV.
