Ubisoft pushes back Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent

Mere minutes ago Electronic Arts pushed back the Xbox 360 version of The Godfather until later this year, and now Ubisoft states in their third quarter earnings report that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent is being pushed back from April until September to “deliver the highest quality gaming experience.”

Welcome to the next generation of gaming, where development has become so complex that every release window ever muttered is in jeopardy of change. At least we know Full Auto is a lock for February 14. SEGA wouldn’t dare push it back with only 2 weeks to release. Would they?
