The Barclays 2013 Friday Round 2 Online

The Barclays 2013 golf tournament got off to a soggy start on Thursday as round 1 was cut short due to rain and the leaderboard left full of holes. Half the field will have to finish playing their first round holes early Friday morning before round 2 can get underway this afternoon.

The PGA is offering over three hours of free live online streaming of today’s Barclays action to watch, while three hours will also air on TV on the Golf Channel. Instructions to access the live stream as well as the Barclays leaderboard are at the bottom of this post.

Tiger Woods is still the favorite to win the FedEx Cup and The Barclays should bring him one step closer toward that goal. Heading into round 2, Woods has a 67 from round 1 and trails the leader Kevin Stadler by three strokes. His FedEx Cup competition, Matt Kuchar and Brandt Snedeker, shot a 66 and 72 during the extended round 1 session, respectively.

This top group has a late tee time today of 3:21pm EST on the front nine thanks to Thursday’s rain and lightning delays. Due to the delays that forced some players to take nearly 12 hours to finish round 1, the second round could end up carrying over into Saturday where players might be forced to play 27 holes before Sunday’s round 4 to determine the winner.

So far today the weather has cooperated and play is well underway.

Today’s The Barclays 2013 golf tournament is being televised on the Golf Channel from 3-6pm EST. You can watch a free live online streaming version of today’s round 2 here in progress at the official PGA website from 8am through 6pm EST, with live play running from 3-6pm EST, as well as keep up to date with the leaderboard. An audio-only option is also offered in case you’re at work and want to multi-task without missing any of the action.
