Raiders vs Chiefs NFL Sunday Football Online

The Kansas City Chiefs hope to extend their unbeaten record to 6-0 in week 6 against an Oakland Raiders squad that is treading water at 2-3. Off all the undefeated teams, the Chiefs have the best shot at staying that way, especially considering the NFL schedule gave them this game at home.

After blowing out the winless Giants two weeks ago, the Chiefs played a closer game against the Tennessee Titans last week and came out victorious on the road by a score of 26-17. It took a fourth quarter comeback by route of three consecutive field goals for the Chiefs to pull out a victory after the Titans had taken the lead 17-13 early in the final frame. Alex Smith had a mediocre game against the Titans with 245 passing yards on 20-39 attempts, no touchdowns and an interception. The real star of the game and player the Raiders will need to keep their eye on was Jamaal Charles who reeled off 108 yards rushing on 22 carries, along with 37 receiving yards. He did lose a fumble, but he also scored a touchdown and literally carried his team to victory.

The Chiefs do have some injury concerns heading into Sunday’s football game with the Raiders. Tight end Anthony Fasano is unlikely to play due to injury and wide receiver Donnie Avery is questionable to ready to go. If Avery sits, Dwayne Bowe could end up having a big game as he would become the top target for Smith out of the pocket.

Smith and his offense better be ready to improve on third down and red zone conversions if they want their streak to continue. They only converted 1 of 12 third downs against the Titans, and scored a touchdown once in four trips into the red zone.

Oakland enters this game after a strong win against the San Diego Chargers by a score of 27-17. Turnovers proved critical to that win as the Raiders stole the ball from the Chargers a total of five times.

Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor is starting to come into his own as well and should keep the Chiefs defense on their toes. He completed 18-23 passes last week for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns without an interception, equating to a 135.7 quarterback rating. It’s no Peyton Manning performance, but another strong Pryor outing could make this a close game and put the Chiefs perfect record and tie atop the AFC West with the Broncos on the line.

Fox will begin televising this NFL Sunday football Game between the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs at 1pm EST. This is a tough game to predict. While the Chiefs are perfect and playing at home, their last win was messy and they seem vulnerable. The Raiders are playing better and with more confidence with each passing game. Therefore my prediction is for the Raiders to beat the odds and leave Kansas City with an upset victory.
