In conjunction with the recently concluded Tokyo Game Show, Sony has released the first new ‘Warhawk’ screenshots since E3. And like those, this new batch focuses heavily on air combat leaving us pondering what on Earth ground warfare will look like.
Ground combat aside, we’re pretty stoked for another shot at piloting the Warhawk craft using Playstation 3’s motion sensitive controller. Our hands-on demonstration at E3 this past May was quite enjoyable after the intial typical break-in period frustration with learning the subtle movements subsided. ‘Warhawk’ has yet to be confirmed a Playstation 3 launch title but we’d be pretty surprised if it wasn’t. Sony needs this game on store shelves to help sell the controller’s concept, and we need this game on store shelves for another shot at steering through swarms of enemies with one hand while snacking with the other.
