New ‘Army of Two’ Screens Feature Cooperative Tactics

Electronic Arts today released thirteen new screenshots for their new IP, ‘Army of Two.’ As with the last batch of screens, these were culled from the live demonstration peformed for the press this past May at E3.

This batch reveals some of the cooperative gameplay features EA’s next-gen boutique studio is incorporating. For example, when your partner – controlled by the AI or a human – is wounded, you can sling his arm over your shoulder and help him along. If the wound is dire and your partner is near death, you can attempt to resuscitate him before he’s able to “enter the light.”

‘Army of Two’ should be completed and released to stores for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 sometime in 2007.
