EA Sports has released the Madden NFL 25 demo for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that offers four teams or two match-ups to choose from, along with access to some of the game’s other features. You must a Live Gold member to gain access to the demo today. Silver members won’t get their turn until next week.
The two games offered to play in the demo are the Seattle Seahawks or the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, and the Super Bowl rematch of the San Francisco 49ers playing at Baltimore. Players can choose their difficulty level, but quarters are locked at 5 minutes each and uniforms locked to default.
Before jumping into a game, players are offered a Skills Trainer tutorial that showcases all the precision modifiers in the game including ball-carrier moves as well as passing and defense techniques. The new Infinity Engine 2 and Force Impact system is also explored.
There’s also a video hosted by Trey Wingo that goes over all the new features in Madden NFL 25, as well as a video with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft where he discusses what it takes to run an NFL football team – a tie-in to the new Owner mode in Connected Franchise.
Madden NFL 25 will be available to purchase on Xbox 360 and PS3 on August 27. You can still pre-order the Madden NFL 25th Anniversary Edition that includes a full season of NFL Sunday Ticket with a total package worth of $400, one of the hottest sellers at Amazon.com since the NFL preseason began.
