‘Lego Batman: The Videogame’ Coming To Next-Gen Consoles

Warner Brothers Interactive has announced (confirmed) that ‘Lego Batman: The Videogame’ is currently in development at Traveller’s Tales, the studio responsible for both Lego Star Wars titles. ‘Lego Batman: The Videogame’ is expected to debut sometime in 2008 on current and next-gen consoles, presumably including Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Warner describes the game as follows, “The LEGO BATMAN: THE VIDEOGAME story unfolds with Batman’s greatest foes escaping from Arkham Asylum and creating mayhem throughout Gotham City. Tracking criminals, including The Joker and The Penguin, players will utilize Batman’s gadgets as well as build and operate fantastic vehicles in one or two player cooperative gameplay.”
