Electronic Arts has announced currently injured Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas has signed on the dotted line as the cover athlete for ‘NBA Live 08,’ due to arrive this fall on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
While EA elected not to issue any game-specific information at this time, they were kind enough to release a pair of screenshots featuring Mr. Arenas in action on the court. To say the screens look sickingly real would be a gross understatement. For the first time in the series, EA has managed to realistically render a player’s face, further blurring the line between the video game and the real game.
