The Raid: Redemption Blu-ray Release Date, Details and Pre-Order

Film Festival martial arts darling The Raid: Redemption will make its Blu-ray and DVD debut on August 14 with a new unrated cut in case you needed further incentive to check out the critically acclaimed film.

Gareth Evans directs Iko Uwais and Joe Taslim as members of a rookie SWAT team who must infiltrate and neutralize a Jakarta safe house chock full of the worst criminals, gangsters and thugs imaginable. What ensues are action sequences that have been lauded by critics at the Toronto, Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals.

The Blu-ray edition of The Raid: Redemption will include an UltraViolet copy, be presented in 1.78:1 1080p video, and feature the original Indonesian/Bahasa language track as well as an English dub with music by Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda - both in 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The rating for Blu-ray is Unrated with the film running 101 minutes long.
