![]() NFL Sunday Football Online Live Stream: Colts at JetsOctober 14, 2012 In the first round of NFL Sunday football games today, the 2-2 Indianapolis Colts visit the 2-4 New York Jets on CBS in a battle of quarterbacks charting paths in opposite directions. Andrew Luck has been gaining confidence with each snap fielded including orchestrating a huge win last week. Mark Sanchez, however, has struggled this season and calls for Tim Tebow to take over are growing louder with each passing loss and mediocre passing performance.
Last week Luck faced the Green Bay Packers and put up his best all-around numbers in this early season. In leading his team to a comeback victory from an 18-point second-half deficit, Luck threw for 362 yards, completed 31 of 55 passes, and tossed a pair of touchdowns including the game-winning one to Reggie Wayne with only 35 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter. Luck faces a New York Jets team and defense that lost a close 17-23 game to the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football. The Jets defense showed up and should feel a little bit better about themselves coming into this game after being bombed in all the previous ones. They will have their hands full considering how frequently Luck is putting the ball in the air and connecting with his receivers. On offense, Mark Sanchez is feeling the heat from fans yet his coach Rex Ryan continues to stick with him. On Monday Night Sanchez tossed two picks and completed less than 50 percent of his passes again. With a completion percentage of only 48.4, Sanchez ranks dead last in the league in that category. The team's pathetic 3.2 yards-per-carry isn't helping Sanchez's options. The alternate is for Ryan to throw Tebow into the fire and see if the young quarterback and rekindle the magic he seemed to pull out of his helmet week after week last season for the Broncos. Tebow gets a snap or two a game in a different-look offense, but there's been no evidence out of Ryan's mouth yet that Tebow will be taking over in any capacity. If the Jets get clobbered by the Colts today and Sanchez struggles again, the Jets will fall to 2-4 and those Tebow cries will be louder than ever. How long Ryan should stick with Sanchez is one of the biggest sports mysteries in New York right now. Kickoff for the Indianapolis Colts hoping to extend the New York Jets' misery gets underway at 1pm EST/10am PST today in high definition on CBS. In the event you don't have access to a television, you can watch the live stream via NFL Sunday Ticket or visit this website for a free online live stream. With the struggles of the Jets offense and growing confidence brewing within Andrew Luck and his coaching staff to utilize his arm, I'm looking for the Colts to add to the Jets woes and win by a touchdown.
